Portobello Road

Today we're off to Heathrow to pick up my Canadian friend David, who has just finished his MBA in Nice and a brief family reunion in Montreal. We're going for a tour of the Cotswolds later in the week, as soon as he's attended a day-convention in London and overcome his jet-lag.

It's back into Notting Hill for the afternoon, a stroll up Portobello Road and a light lunch. I find a brown jade elephant to add to my "small stone elephant" collection.

Back at the hotel, we look for a good wireless access spot (hot-spot) and discover Skype Zones. In contrast to BT Openzone's £8/hr, Skype Zones offers a month unlimited access for US$8 flat!!!!!!!
