Catching clouds in Saint-Nazaire

Leaving La Rochelle at 9am, we avoided the highway on the trek north, so as to catch some coastal scenery. As it turned out, this was mostly a waste of time with unappealing outbreak of plage towns (although Pornic does sound HOT!). Lunched in the port-city of Saint-Nazaire, situated at the mouth of the Loire, home to a major AirBus factory and major Allied forces bomb target in WWII.

The picture shows some of the many fishing shacks on the bay.

Drove on to Angers in the afternoon, and have a couple of nights booked at a cheap hotel in the middle of the city.
