Back to London

Didn't get up to much today, aside from a final lunch with Vance & Meme at the National College of Ireland. I finished reading Clive James' very impressive collection of essays from 2001-2005, The Meaning of Recognition. I immediately switched to reading his third volume of autobiography May Week Was in June. The fourth volume, The North Face of Soho has just been released.

I'd had a very hard time getting to sleep last night, my head and stomach churning (unnecessarily it turned out) over having to justify my tourist entry to the UK once more. However when I landed at Heathrow, I discovered that I didn't need to clear immigration again.
