Where the underwater meets the elite

Today I became the owner of a house. That is to say, I am again the owner of the first house I owned in Sydney, and it's already rented out until I decide to hang up my travel clogs for a while.

One of the first things I checked, was how high world water-levels would have to rise before I had the Pacific Ocean lapping at my door: 13m according to Alex Tingle's Flood Maps.

Of course, the property price would have risen long before, since Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport would be underwater and the house would no longer be below the flight-path.
