Country cooking

country cooking

One big chicken casserole from me, and a chocolate cake from Gustav.

  1. Mike, do you recommend that Kenwood mijoteur? Is it model no. CP658? I'm interested in having one because I love plats mijotés like boeuf bourguignon or coq au vin.

  2. It is the CP658, and has been a good investment. I got the biggest one I could find, and this will handle about 3 meals each for Gustav and me. In this case I did 6 chicken thighs and vegetables.

It's very handy as the ceramic cooking pot lifts straight out of the base for cleaning, table service or to put in the oven.

It was 50€ on (free delivery) but seems to have gone up 10% since I got it 5 months ago. Still a pretty good price.

  3. Well I think I'm going to buy one. And yes, the price is now 55 or 56 euros, an increase. Still... Thanks.
