A little way out of Tarifa on the road east, we passed this great lookout spot (Mirador del Estrecho) where we could properly see Africa. Normally it would be clearly seen from sea-level in Tarifa, but it was rather overcast this morning. Those are the Rif mountains in Morocco that can be seen across this strait of the Mediterranean. If you swivel your head 180 degrees then you see Spanish mountain ridges completely taken over by wind turbines. I wonder if they’re visible from over the way. Maybe a Moroccan Malamute knows.
